Our Mission in Ethiopia

We spoke in our 46th Ward on Sunday.  Our daughter Julie took this picture of our mission plaque in the case!  We didn't even know it was there! What a FUN surprise to get to see this before we leave!
(Thanks Lynette Carling for taking our picture in our backyard after Church a couple of weeks ago!)   Only four more days  until we fly to Utah!!   : D  Last night was our LAST WOLD FHE with all of our family.  It was a FUN, but hard to think of missing our great family get-togethers.... : /

We have just 10 more days until we leave for our mission! We had a WONDERFUL weekend with ALL our family in Flagstaff, AZ last Friday and Saturday.  Here are some photos....

Our t-shirts have the quote from Pres. Thomas S. Monson:  "A mission is a family affair.  Though continents and oceans may divide (us), (our) hearts are as one."  Ü

Sussie Apondi, who works at the Uganda Kampala Mission Office, served her mission in Cape Town, South Africa, when my brother, Bob Egan, was mission president.  She sent me this link to the Uganda Mormon Newsroom site! Pretty cool!!  Ü  We leave for the MTC in 21 days! That is just three weeks from today!!  We will be speaking in our ward, Mesa 46th, on July 28th at 11:00 am.  Ü
