On Monday, August 4th, we had a zone activity with the elders and
drove about 1/1/2 hours north of Addis to Portugese Bridge. What
a BEAUTIFUL drive and a FUN place to hike!
The scenery was GORGEOUS! SOOO green!!
The Zone Ü
( Habtamu on the front right in the white shirt, is a local missionary who was
getting ready to fly to Accra Ghana on his mission! )
What a BEAUTIFUL place!!
We saw LOTS of baboons!!
The cacti made us a little homesick for AZ....
On top of the bridge
What we had to hike down... VERY slippery rocks
wet with mud! : /
The inside of the bridge is made from Juniper wood.
A baboon cave
Oops! An accidental "selfie"!
We had lunch at THE FAMILY (Mexican ~ sort of) RESTAURANT
A few hours after we got home, we had a HUGE
rainstorm that turned to hail and piled up in the
Church parking lot!!
This huge tree fell over from the wind!
