We had a wonderful Friday and Saturday in Addis with Elder Tasara Makasi, 

an Area Seventy in the Africa Southeast area and also our Area Director 

for Seminary and Institute.  He is a great man!

We had a Christmas devotional for all the Church employees in Ethiopia

and also the three senior couples in the mission with Pres. and Sister Chatfield

(left), Elder Makasi (center) and Bro. Chad Meyer. We also went to lunch 

together at the Sidra Hotel after the devotional.

Here are four of the five employees of the church here.

On the left, Esubalew Alemayehu Biru (Habtu), the office manager

for the Uganda Kampala Mission in Ethiopia, Temesgen

Chewaca who works for LDS Charities, Andualem Milkessa,

Assistant Office Manager and Getu Keno on the right, Facilities

Management.  They are ALL great guys!

Elder Tasara Makasi from Zimbabwe, now living in South Africa.

We also got to see cute Abdi and Tariku, our

friends and seminary students when we were

in Addis for three months.

We do NOT love the traffic in Addis….. : /

The sunset tonight as we drove home to Debre Zeyit was GORGEOUS!!

And the moon was bigger than I have EVER seen it, but I couldn't get a good photo...
